  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

How long does the free trial of the radio portion of Sirius last. Three months or three years?

If it is free to the automaker (and therefor consumer), it is 3 months. If the automaker is paying Sirius, it is 3 years (or for ever how long they are paying for).

So for the 2015 Genesis is it 3 months or 3 years free Sirius radio, I am not talking about traffic, just audio.

I don't know what Hyundai is offering. Any automaker can contract with Sirius and get a service for as long as they are willing to pay for. Did you check the Hyundai website? It may depend on trim level as to how long you get (in previous model years this was the case).

My subscription...

Audio:
Complimentary 3-Month Trial – SiriusXM All Access

Infotainment:
Complimentary 3-Year Trial – SiriusXM Travel Link®
Complimentary 3-Year Trial – SiriusXM Traffic

I bought my '11 in April '12 and kept expecting my SiriusXM subscription to run out. As of August 2014 it is still working. So it may quit in April 2015?

There are several different model years and trim levels discussed in this thread. The complementary SiriusXM is not necessarily the same for all of them.

Which is odd given that this forum is all about the 2015 Genesis Sedan?
Yes, and there are several different 2015 trim levels that may have different free trial periods (if previous model years are any kind of precedent).
