  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi all. New to the forum and new to the Hyundai family. I bought a 2015 Genesis 3.8 AWD with the Signature package in Montecito blue with Ivory interior. I fell in love with the car when I first saw it.

We took our first road trip in the car last week. The leg I loved the most was from Dallas to Branson MO. I go up the back route up US75/US69 and catch I40 to I49 (used to be I540) and the catch US412 through northern Arkansas.

US412 was my part of the vacation in the Genny! It is a curvy hilly windy two lane blacktop with wonderful scenery and is a blast to drive. The car is really composed as I was taking 45 mph chicanes at about 65-70 mph!

I have driven that road in a 2013 Ford Focus Titanium which was a blast, but the Genny did it with style and aplomb. What a car!

Edit to add: The speed limit through the area is 65 MPH, the 40-45 MPH on the chicanes is "suggested".
