  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just got my car back from the dealer, had the windows tinted and trunk emblem ( too lazy, sorry ) and they put a door dent in it! Only 2 mos old.
It looks great now, just back from the auto body but here's the problem.
I have condensation on the back of the plexiglass at the speedometer. It did rain here today (it does rain in Cali ) but how could moisture get behind the gauge plexiglass? Has anyone out there had this in their new Gennie?
Thanks !

Definately not normal and I assume the only fix is to change the gauge cluster.

+1 Not normal, and unless they have a procedure for basically purging the housing and replacing a seal (doubtful). I agree it would likely be a cluster replacement.

I am afraid someone would say that ! The same time as the rainstorm the car was detailed inside before they got it back to me. The marks on the inside of the plexiglass look more like smudging/oil type than water condensation. Could somehow spray to wipe the plexiglass outside gotten on the backside THROUGH the plexiglass?
I am bringing the car back to the dealer and will post the results if some other new Genesis owners go through the same thing
