  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anybody know if you can copy the entire USB data (MP3's & JPEG's) to the Multi-Media hard-drive? If so how?

I know you can add individual songs to your Playlist, but I can't find anything in the manual(s) regarding copying the complete USB or even individual Folders.

Unfortunately you can only copy one song at a time from USB to My Music.

One the 2015 5.0 Ultimate, you can select individual files, select folders, or the entire thumb drive. Just put in the thumb drive, then once in the play menu, move the "cursor" to the top right corner, where it says "Menu" I believe and then there should be an option to copy to JukeBox. If it doesnt show then go into the list view and do the same thing...I'll try to get a screen shot later on today for you..

Thanks, but the Ultimate has a different Multi-Media Interface. I have the smaller touchscreen interface.

Sorry about that.. I thought the Luxury package in Canada might be the same as the Ultimate in US. Strange that they have different interfaces.

Thanks for the screenshots. The Ultimate interface definitely gives you more options. The 'Copy All' is what I was looking for, but sadly it is not available with my system.

In Canada the Ultimate Package is only available on the V8 5.0 model. The V6 3.8 is available in Base, Luxury & Tech trim levels. All 3.8's come with the 8" touchscreen Nav/Multimedia interface. The Canadian Luxury Package is equivalent to the USA Models Signature package, but has a few extra features.

Strange that they have different interfaces.

If I recall correctly the systems are about as different as they can be. They are different processors running different operating systems on different disk setups displaying on different sized screens of different resolution. It's kind of impressive to me that they went to the effort to do all that R&D basically twice totally independently.

Haven't seen much more discussion on this, but is it for certain that on Canadian 3.8s with the 8" screen you can only copy one song at a time? This seems a little strange! With a 6gig HD to copy song by song...
