  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Interested in the seeing the popular color choices.

Parisain grey i love the color but in certain light the doors dont seem to match color.

Manhattan Brown (wife's choice). I must say that while I am okay with the color during the day, at night under the street lights, the color is amazing. Kind of becomes a dark and rich bronze color.

Casablanka white with dark interior

FYI, it's spelled Casablanca and you haven't voted yet. No one has chosen Casablanca White as of yet.

I haven't seen that color in person. I bet it looks fantastic at night.

That would have been my first choice of color.

Red (more like maroon) with grey interior. Love it.

It is quite striking in specific lighting. Here is a picture I took while waiting for the tint shop to open one morning. The low direct sun brings out that "bronzey" look much like street lights.

My wife chose Manhattan Brown also.
My first reaction, it is her car so.........
The reality, she got it last Sunday for her birthday and
I have driven it more than she has!!!!!!!!!:D

My last 4 cars were black (usually with black interior). I started off thinking about staying with that because black looks SO good when clean. Then I saw the Montecito Blue and really liked it. I wavered for awhile and then went back to black. One day I went to the local dealership and saw a black sitting beside an Empire Slate Gray. Something about the gray just did it for me. It has the black interior but the piping is gray and so is a subtle difference. Before I knew it, I was buying the gray.

I was worried that I would regret making such a hasty decision and I have only had it a week now so it is early, but so far I like it more and more. It doesn't have to be absolutely clean to look incredible and the gray paint has such a richness to it that I am more and more satisfied.

Talk to me about Montecito Blue vs. the Empire Gray. Have not seen one in person and also am considering a move sway from my traditional black choice.

I too came from a black on black 2012 5.0 rpsec. Told myself never again - the car would be dirty 2 hours after I washed it. Went with Empire Grey for same reasons stated above. Color is just striking in person.

Empire Gray is grey/blue with mica highlights.
Montecito Blue is blue/grey with mica highlights.

They are close cousins. The blue is not a knock your eyes out bright blue.

I knew this would be dominated by gray and black however I am surprised there are so few whites. Was a rather popular colour on the gen1.

Brown is an amazing color.
