Back up Screen Brightness

Newbie Alert!
First time posting. I bought a new 2015 Genesis 5.0 ultimate last week. Thus far it is unquestionably the finest vehicle I've ever owned. What a ride!!
A few questions are popping up as she and I get used to one another. Does anyone know if there is a brightness adjustment on the monitor when in reverse and the back up camera comes alive? Nothing I've tried so far has worked. I stopped by the dealer today and visited with the service manager. He advised that he knew of no brightness adjustment.

Have you tried to Select Menu, Display Settings, Set Video Image, Brightness... This will adjust the screen but not sure if it will effect the camera. I have had no issue with visibility with mine when using the back-up camera with exception of the interior lighting. I simply press the dimmer switch on the left side of the steering wheel to darken all interior lighting.

It appears that the master dimming control for the dash lights (which also controls the display) is the only way to adjust the backup display. I had hoped that there might be a separate trim control that would allow the adjustment of just this function. Not a big deal really, it's just that my driveway is long and DARK.

You may be able to add a variable resistor to a wire on the radio to control the brightness separately. You would have to check the wiring diagrams.

Almost as bright as the headlights without a projected distance.

Beautiful and by all appearances, darned functional as well. Any tips you have on acquisition of the lamps themselves as well as installation would be much appreciated.

Yours is 2015 vs 2013.
But it shouldn't be that difficult to replace though.
It took me ~ 5 min to do each side.
