  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I live in Los Angeles off the 210 by Big Tujunga Canyon and Angeles Crest Highway. Today I decided to take the Genesis canyon carving and since it was near sunset I had a perfect backdrop to take some new photos. In a couple pics you can make out the Los Angeles skyline off in the distance.

I normally shoot with a Canon T3i (incase you couldn't tell by my Flickr name) but didn't feel like lugging all my equipment with me today. I shot these with my iPhone 6 plus and did some post processing in Adobe Lightroom 5.

One shot is kinda ruined by the couple with the Miata but what ya gonna do?

Enjoy!!!

Nice shots! :)

I was in L.A. yesterday ....traffic is a nightmare at Friday afternoon! :D

Nice shots as usual! :) Glad to see ya on Flickr so I'll follow you there.

Nicely done. I don't mind the other couple so much, it adds something to the photo, though I can't put my finger on what.

Thanks guys! I went back up today to take shots of exotic cars and motorcycles. A parade of fast and furious wannabes came through, at least 80-100 cars. One guy had a Genesis coupe and honked and waved lol I wonder if he's a member here. He by FAR had one of the nicest cars in the group.

The CHP came by about 5 minutes later and several of them got busted for reckless driving. Then on my way back down the mountain CHP had two cars surrounded in a turn off by 4 or 5 squad cars. Crazy kids.

Great Pics SoCal, we have basically the same car so I just used your pics to show my Wife why I need wings and tint, thank you for the great example as she agrees with me now. :D

Let me know if your ever in the San Bernardino area and want to do some fun driving, taking the 18 up to Big Bear is a great drive.

Will do man! I don't make it out there too often but I'll keep it in mind.

I lived in La Canada Flintridge many years ago, and I know that area very well. Nice shots!

how did you get your led eyebrow light to light up and not have headlights on? I been wanting to know how to do that.

Try pressing the On/Off button once and manually turning off the headlights. I think that way, only the LED eyebrows will stay on.

Nice shots!

I am looking forward to snow in a few hours. :( Envious.......

Shut down the engine, in that case those DRL aren't on and then light nob 1 click forward.

Thanks guys! If we get any more rain this winter I want to go up afterwards and take more shots. Sometimes you can get clear shots of downtown with a telephoto lens.
