  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Today I received a $50 prepaid "thank you" promotional MasterCard from Hyundai! Purchased my Genesis in November.

That's pretty special

I would've preferred that to the pen!! Ah well, at least I got something.

I also received the $50 gift card yesterday. My car was purchased last November - if that had anything to do with it.
And I received the pen a few weeks ago.

SO far, I haven't even received the time of day from Hyundai and I bought my Ultimate in June. Maybe they don't like me.

Does it have anything to do with financing? Did you pay cash or not use Hyundai Financing? My opinion is that the gifts are being issued to the people who used in house financing. I only say this because I paid cash and have received nothing in response to my purchase.

Could be - I paid cash and got nothing too! So maybe it's just Hyundai thanking folks for all the extra money they are making off of them in finance charges!

same here I bought mine in October. Oh well. :welcome:

Maybe all you cash paying guys are funding the gift cards.

Paid cash for mine in November and got the pen set a couple of weeks ago. I eagerly await the prepaid card!

I paid cash ... got the pen first then the gift card

This is my 3rd Hyundai ... maybe it's the repeat business that triggers the card.

Paid in cash for a v6 awd ultimate in november got the pen last month. Got the $50.00 prepaid mastercard tonight. This is my first Hyundai. I am wondering if it has something to do with the dealer.

I got my gift shortly after trading in my 2012, it was a prepaid credit card thanks to the EPA sanctions imposed on Hyundai for mis-stating the estimated mileage on that years car. Now have a litttle over 2000 miles logged and have not paid for gas yet!

The prepaid credit card for gas mileage is a separate issue and not to be confused with the $50 gift card.
I think that the $50 gift card might be for those who traded in a previous Genesis using the "Hyundai Assurance Trade-In Value Guarantee" program that was automatically included in my April/2012 Genesis purchase.

Purchased mine in with cash in Sept got a pen only.
