K&N Air Filter

I was thinking of getting the K&N Air filter, I put one in my Audi before and I felt like I could notice a difference. Anyone put one of these in their Genesis?

Debating whether I should spend the $50 on this or buy mud guards.

I would go with the Mud Guards. Based on the statement in the manual, "Use HYUNDAI genuine parts, use of non-genuine parts could damage the air flow sensor", I would not install any aftermarket items in fear of if something went wrong down the road, they could possibly blame it on the aftermarket item and not cover it under the warranty. Obviously it would have to attribute to the cause but why take a chance.

I second the motion on the mud guards. This car gets very dirty, very quickly when it rains. The mud guards help a bit.

Not to much rain where I am (So Cal) but still gets very dirty from road debri and such. Definitely going with the mud guards, not going to mess with the filter.

Easiest way is your local Hyundai dealership parts department. They can order them if they aren't in stock.
