  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Do I really have to push Accept every friggin time?

I have left mine for 30 minutes or more. It absolutely does NOT go away. The only way for Hyundai to allow use in operation (full functionality) - The lawyers made them get an "acknowledgement" from the operator.

This might be 2015 only, but I tried it about 45 minutes ago in my 2015 3.8 Tech package. Goes away after about 10-15 seconds without me touching anything.

Yes, the 2015 has this "feature". The Gen 1 does not.

Where did I read that the non-USA gen 1 cars do not have the AV warning? If that is true isn't it likely software and not hardware and possibly something that could be changed by someone tech savvy?

Exactly what we need - along the same lines - the screen should have a settable default - like for me, the radio screen or the climate screen.

My cellphones stay in a shoebox most of the time, and I'm macho - don't need that NAV stuff.

If anyone can figure out how to get into the engineering menu on the 2013/14 than we might be able to change the setting. But I have no idea how to do it. I don't think anyone has figured it out yet.

Maybe the NSA guys can do it - somebody up there must drive Genesis's.

Let's get crackin!
