  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just encountered my first issue with the navigation system regarding Sirius XM. Lost my channels yesterday so had the Sirius signal sent twice to my car and didn't load the channels. Prior to having the signal sent the problem I was having was it first only provided the Preview channel on Sirius XM, then while playing the preview station, it would periodically (but regularly) go silent and then come back on (without a "weak signal" notification). Then as I would touch through the screen options on the navigation system for the radio, it stopped recognizing my touch. Additionally, it would go from the Sirius XM menu and automatically go back to the home screen on it's own. Then sometimes when I would attempt to hit the Sirius XM app again, it wouldn't recognize my touch and go back to the Sirius XM app menus.

I called the dealer who had me do the reset (with the button next to the CD player) and hold it for 30 seconds. I did the reset 4 times and still experienced the same issues above.

I'm taking it in to the dealer on Monday.

I showed the dealer last week how my navigation system (radio, nav, Sirius) was acting up and they dealt with Hyundai's tech support. They have decided that the entire system needs replacing. The part isn't expected in for over a month so I'll have to be patient. I appreciate their standing behind their product!

let us know the bill please :). I know it will be covered under warranty but let us know the final cost before warranty if possible

The new head unit is scheduled to be in on February 2nd, I'm told. Subject to Change. I have seen other posts since that indicate the head unit is $4,900. I'll confirm when my new unit is installed.

February 2!! I hope that is a typo :)

I had my new head unit installed today. Seems to be working fine (so far). Unfortunately, I could not report back the cost because neither the labor or parts prices are listed on my receipt. All either say $0.00 or N/C.
