  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Received the Restart package promo in the mail yesterday from Hyundai for 50% off for two years or about $47 per year ($4/mth).
The email promo did state the promo is for this specific VIN (my Gennie).
With oldman winter is now upon us and I do love the feel of a wam car waiting for me when leaving work in the evening. Or the reverse in the months of summer. :D
So I figured it would be worthwhile so I went ahead and signed up for two year subcription. :)

Note that, the Remote package in one notch above the basic 3 years free sub and one below the Guidedance package.

I got one for 35% off via email.

is there a specific code listed in the mail/email? I was just about to pull the trigger on a 2 year remote start package (after not having it for 7 months) for $354.

Now I should wait it out

can you post a picture of the mail you received?

Discount good only on Blue Link Remote package. Offer valid through 11/30/14 at 11:59 PM CST"

Call this number 877-240-3343 and mention 50 REMOTE when talking to the agent.
It could be VIN specific the way the email was worded.
Let us know how it works out.
The deal is too good to pass up, IMO.
I actually paid $86 for two years sub.

I called the number you provided and was listening to music for about 2 minutes before a lady answered. No menu prompt or any recording. I told the lady i was interested in signing back up for the remote start feature because I received a 50% of promo. She said no problem ill sign you up...

To get the remote start feature, you need to have assurance as well (which i didnt have). Assurance is 99$ a year and the remote start is 49$ (with the 50% off)...total was 161$ for the year.

She said the remote start 50% was ONLY good for one year and I could not sign up for multiple years.

Saved a little money...thanks

Welcome.
I'm glad you did get the discount!
What exactly is the Assurance package?
Mine is called Connected Care which is free for three years.
The next upgrade is Remote which I just signed up for two years for the same promo rate and by reading your post I see that this is a YMMV depending which agent you were talking to.
The most expensive package is called Guidance which I'm not interested in subscribing.

None of this stuff in Canada. No bluelink whatsoever, and we can use the remote start in our winters

boys and girls, I'm happy to report the new or latest release (Droid phone) from Hyundai has added some new improvement, most notably you can now select the option to stay logged in instead of having re-log back on every time.

On February 25, 2015 I've received an email offer to renew BlueLink remote package with 35% discount for one year. I didn't respond to it, and it expired on March 11.

Today I've received another offer, this time with 50% discount.

I'm wondering, if I skip this one, are they gonna offer me even better discount or that's the bottom? Did anyone achieve discount beyond 50%?

Also, what would happen when my Connected Care (that I find pretty useless) expires in November 2015? I've read that Connected Care should be active in order to use Remote package. And since the 50% discount applies only to one-time 12 months payment of $49.50 (you can't pay monthly at the discounted rate), I will have expired Connected Care with a few already prepaid months left on Remote package. Will Hyundai credit the remaining balance or offer some other solution?

Thanks in advance for all of the input.

Is anyone getting any promo codes these days? My 3-month free trial ended this Saturday and I did not receive any codes via email and I would like to keep the remote package...

I thought it was automatically renewed and charged to your credit card when the 3-month trail ended.

I've been looking for a way to tell them not to renew the the two 3-month trial packages without having to call to do it. But, it looks like the only way to make sure that the two unused trials don't get renewed is to call.

When I was first getting my Genesis, I gave them my credit card information on one of my expiring cards so they couldn't auto-renew :)

Anyone get a Promo code recently, my subscription ended in December and they were only offering 15% discount.
