Version 9 of GPS software/update coming out June 1st!

I see that MapnSoft is showing that V9 for the 2015 Genesis is Out of Stock. Must have had a lot more people wanting the update then they planned on.

Has anyone received V9 and installed it yet?

If so, what differences have you noticed?

Unless I'm mistaken, it doesn't (yet) appear to be possible to order version 9 for the Genesis. It's been "Out of Stock" the entire time.

There is another thread about Version 9. According to the information there, Version 9 won't be available until mid-July at the earlisest.

I called them and they confirmed v9 for my 2015 Ultimate does not exist yet. It has said out of stock since day one because it is not ready to ship.

Hmmm. The update site says that after you've updated to Version 8.5 the new map version will be 07.47.65.001.001

According to the system info on my January 2015 built V6 Ultimate, my current map version is 07.47.65.001.002

I'm wondering what the map version is for those of you that have older build-date 2015s and have updated to newer versions? It would be interesting to see a list of the Update Number and which Map Version correlates to which update.

How did you find what version you have? I tied and can't get this info......I tried the system setup button but nothing gives me any access to map version
I have the non jog system........

For the touch screen version of the Nav system, the MapnSoft page shows that you should push the Setup button, then System Info and the version should be displayed (or perhaps there is version link under the System Info selection).

For the version on the Ultimate trim, It is Home, Settings, System Info, Version.

Tried setup and no luck.... it will give you several option but not the info that shows what version you have. one of the choices is navigation...you can get general info like Lat.,Long., speed and altitude but that's it

That's where I found the information about the Nav System on the Ultimate.

Yes .... but in info on verifying what version is not shown.
You have the better unit and I'm sure a different manual. Hopefully someone who owns the standard Nav. knows the secret to retrieve this info

Select Setup then select System Info. The map data is displayed.

After selecting Setup you have to scroll the screen to have the system info icon show. You should not be selecting the navigation icon.

Boy do I feel stupid...I never noticed the white bar to the right side of that screen.

No. Whoever designed the thin white line with no indicator of the position of the scroll bar should lose their Einstein pic. It is not user friendly!
