If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This is completely subjective, but I want to get some insight into your opinions on the various colors Hyundai offers.

I'm interested in the 2015 Genesis (AWD)

I haven't seen many "in the wild" so it's hard to really know what the visual impact is besides what I see online :(

Please include your preference for both the Interior and Exterior.

I sat in a dark grey Genesis yesterday at the dealership that had an all black interior. Not exactly my favorite because nothing really stood out, or popped.

I didn't get a change to sit in the "ivory" interior or anything.

Thoughts? Regrets? I personally know how it feels to buy a particular color because of a good deal, then for the next few years think "I wished I spent that extra 2 grand for that other color!!!"

My favorite color is Montecito Blue with Beige interior. When I first started doing research on this car and they started showing up in the dealers, I fell in love with the Black one with Beige interior. Then this color showed up and my decision was made. It took a few months to find the 5.0 in this color combo but it was worth the wait.

Besides that we all know that the Montecito Blue is the fastest color :D. See, it says so below :D

This color changes in the light depending on how and when the sun hits it. At night parked in a lighted parking lot it looks more gray than blue. I have received a lot of complements on this color. I could have bought other color combos sooner but I knew if I bought the color combo that I really didn't want, I would have regretted it. I am so glad I waited until I found the exact car (5.0 Ultimate) with the exact color combo I wanted.

Casablanca white w/ beige interior. I have always loved pearl white as it looks classy and does a good job hiding dirt. I hate grey interior and black is not an option with kids and dog hair. I absolutely love the look of this car in white with beige interior, the lines are strong and the car is gorgeous.

here are a few of mine "in the wild"

Wow, that interior looks great. Each crease/design point just seems to stand out more.

I'll definitely have to spend more time with each, but I appreciate ya'lls feedback.

Even though I have a white on tan (it was a CPO - beggars can't be choosers)...

THE color to get is the red on tan. Such a gorgeous car in the sunlight.

i'd say the safest colours are black, white and the dark grey

but if i could go back i would have got the blue with ivoy interior.

not hating on the black interior but the other colours seem to make the interor pop more. maybe if they start adding a different colour to mix with black...like RED orsomethign would be sick!!

wow this red looks really good too

I checked out all the color combos before deciding on the Montecito Blue with Ivory interior. I truly love it, and get compliments on it all the time. The downside is that it seems to be relatively rare, it took me 5 months to find with the 5.0L Ultimate package.

Same here. :D

i've had a lot of black cars, and i was really torn on this. the red looks really nice sometimes, but not so nice other times, and it may get old fast. the white is really sharp in this car, and i usually don't like white cars. a few cars really pull it off, and this is one. i was almost going to get white, actually. i just think black looks the best for me and what i'm looking for. montecito blue and empire state grey are both very solid choices, just not what i wanted when i had to make a call. as far as interior, i posted a similar question recently. i don't personally like grey interiors, the ivory isn't available in my option package (though it is growing on me anyways), and the black just didn't seem to pop for this car. maybe if i got the white exterior i would be happy with the black interior. but with the black exterior, i have to go with beige interior. the best choice would be that caramel brown seats and accents with black everything else, which they offer in Germany apparently now. but for 70,000 euros and the import costs, taxes, duties, etc. i think i would just buy an s-class ;-) i'm about 45 days from purchase, but i know i would wait many more weeks to get the colors and options i want. i recommend doing the same, no matter what your preferences are. no reason to drop that much money on something you will use every day for many years, and not get what you want!

This. I do not like white cars - but when I saw this in the showroom as a CPO - it... just... looked... RIGHT. So I opted for it - instead of waiting for a red CPO. Very happy with the end results...

I am still shopping around, but right now I prefer the Ibiza Blue with the Ivory interior. However this changes day by day for me; I have seen other colors in different settings and they look great too. The only thing I cannot have is a beige interior. The worst car I ever had had a beige interior and now when I see beige I can feel my blood pressure going up...

The only thing I would advise is to see the colors in person if you can, pictures don't always do it justice.

I also was initially taken by the Ibiza Blue in the brochures, but then when I saw it in person it did not seem to match the cars class (segment). It reminded me of a Subaru WRX color or one on a smaller, economy car. I am sure those who have it are happy, but I was afraid it would not wear well for me after the first few weeks.

To me the color can make the car look like its in a different class. I have empire state grey and it makes the car, to me, look more sporty than luxury. Black and white look more luxurious to me.

I got the Montecito Blue with Ivory. I don't know why it's hard to find in 5.0L cars (I never saw it in 3.8L cars either) but it looks great. It looks almost purple-metallic in low-light conditions. I like the black wood interior trim too, it's unique. I think it was the only car on the lot in that color combo. Ibiza Blue was a lot more common. Hard to find a car that doesn't have a beige interior.

I agree as do others that have commented on my Empire State Gray Genesis. It looks really great in bright sunlight or under streetlights, but I like this color in all lighting. I had a Parisian Gray loaner for 2 weeks and I liked it in some lighting conditions, but disliked it in others. To me it changed colors too much and sometimes looked grey, sometimes looked blue'ish and under overcast/rain clouds looked greenish.

I like the pearl white with the black interior. I really like the looks and the practicality of this option. White exteriors are practical cooler, show fewer dings, swirl marks, and are easier to maintain. I like the look of a dark interior and it is easier to maintain. Interior color does not have much effect on interior temperature because of window tinting, cooled seats, rear sunshade and I always put a sunshade in the windshield.
