  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

How much have people paid for 15,000 mile service. Stealerhips are asking 230-300 which sounds ridiculous. Also, does anyone know how to change the Replace Climate Control Air Filter / Air Conditioning Filter. I usually do those myself but I don't know where this one is. Thanks for the info ahead of time.

15,000 mile service (or any service package based on mileage) is a dealer invention to remove money from your wallet. Check the owner's manual for specific required service items, and request those only. Ignore the inspections (you should be able to check the radiator fluid and brake fluid levels yourself).

The Climate Control Air Filter (cabin filter) is in the glove box. Not sure about the 2015, but there are video's on YouTube to change previous Genesis cabin filters. Check your owner's manual to see if there is info on how to change it. Fram makes a good after-market version, or get one at your dealer parts department.

Cabin filters are the same on both Gen1 & 2 both in model and method of installation. They actually made the system a little better, there are now 2 stoppers, one on the left and one on the right which you twist and pull out. The damper arm remains similar. The door for the filter unlatches from the left and fold out as opposed to 2 sides on the Gen1. Here is the video for the Gen1. https://youtu.be/AQ_GnZs9Wpg?t=22 Need a filter? There are tons of choices out there. Pay no attention the model years shown nor the V6 or V8 applications on the site as these filters all work from 2009 -2016. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...TRS0&_nkw=genesis+sedan+cabin+filter&_sacat=0
