Show me your Ibiza Blue Sedans!

Hi guys!
Saturday Night I took a test drive of a 3.8 sedan and fell in love. I almost pulled the trigger after they kept trying to push it on me without me even making a single offer, they got down to 34.9k. I cant imagine what would have happened if I would have pushed. I am glad I sat back and waited, I forgot about the Sedans special "Ibiza blue" that you can have on it. No dealers in my area have this car for sale and pictures online are dull or just not good quality. I am asking that any and all owners please post up their Ibiza blue cars so I can get a good idea of how the blue really looks! Google search engine is full of bleh photos as well. I want to see real peoples cars. I dont know if its worth upgrading to the Ultimate package to get the blue or not but I would like to at least see to make sure.

Yah, its just so hard to get a true idea of what the color looks like as its an order only color. I asked the dealer I test drove at, I dont care if its the coupe, call me so I can come see and make a final decision! Thanks for the post.

Agreed. Sales booklets, color chips and photos are rarely enough to make a decision on the color - when shopping a particular model I will travel to see it in person.

it is a lovely color. they had one on the lot when I bought mine but it wasn't the 5.0 so I passed. looks great in person for sure.

Exactly! I did a search and not one dealer in the whole Orlando area has a sedan or coupe in this color right now, might be for the best, I have 2 months left before the baby arrives so I can save more till then. The nearest dealer was Lakeland and Tampa who had this color in stock!

Ahh, The engine doesnt matter for me but I hear from these forums that the v8 is on an even higher hyundai discount right now which almost makes it worth it.

yah buddy, after i created this account to check out the genesis coupe all those years ago, I ended up going with the 370z a bit later as you can see. Anyways, now that I have a kid on the way, and being blown away by the 4 door sedan since its launch and the deal being sealed when I test drove it on Saturday, I knew it was time to get the Genesis Sedan

If you go to Youtube and search for "hyundai genesis 2015 review" you'll see lots of videos, many of them are ibiza blue.

yah buddy, after i created this account to check out the genesis coupe all those years ago, I ended up going with the 370z a bit later as you can see. Anyways, now that I have a kid on the way, and being blown away by the 4 door sedan since its launch and the deal being sealed when I test drove it on Saturday, I knew it was time to get the Genesis Sedan

You are most welcome and I know the feeling because at the time I came from a TransAm, due to a similar situation.

Fwiw, I would personally gravitate towards the 5.0, just because I still have the 'need for speed' bug and I am somewhat partial as I have two of them, the original 2009 4.6 and a 2013 V8 R-Spec. But I am sure your will love yours as much as most of us, regardless of the model you will end up with...

Fwiw, I would personally gravitate towards the 5.0, just because I still have the 'need for speed' bug and I am somewhat partial as I have two of them, the original 2009 4.6 and a 2013 V8 R-Spec. For sure, I have already began the strategy of what wheels I want to order, tint, clear bra, and possibly some springs. It was funny, I drove 4 cars on Saturday and not one made me go OOOH Let me play more until I got in the Genesis and it was just a base model 3.8. Thats when you know the car is right! Just waiting to see how much more I can put down for a very large down payment.

Awesome buddy! Thanks so much, we went to a dealer about 45mins away today to look at a 3.8 awd car they had on their lot in this blue. Sadly when we got there it was cloudy so it was a bit dirty looking. We did like it alot but it was a left over '15 and they still wanted high 40s for it! We were like ehhh nah and walked. I told them I see deals on here selling around 40k plus Tax etc and he just sat there. I could tell they didnt want to deal. Pssh on paying that much for a '15 model and it wasnt even the 5.0!

Just thought I would share some pics of the 3.8 awd we test drove today. Sadly, it started to be cloudy when we arrived at the dealer. Loved the car but the dealer was asking far too high for a left over '15 model.
