Crystalline 50% Tint - Empire State Gray - Finished Product

I'm a tint guy so I love these threads. As a soon to be Genesis sedan owner, I like seeing these. I plan to go with 5 or 15%. I have 5% on all of my other cars and for my first family sedan, I want to keep it sick looking And no, cops dont care what we do here tint wise.

Also went with Crystalline, 40% all around. It has a slight brownish tint from certain angles, and I felt it matched better than the smoke/black ceramics. I felt a black tint looks out of place with a brown car.

Liked the way it came out as well.

Looks nice bro, Manhattan brown is probably one of the most underrated colors. I personally love it.

I picked up my Empire State Gray 5.0 Ultimate on Saturday and am having the entire front clip done in Xpel Ultimate on Monday. They are charging me 1450 including the headlights, door cups and door edges.

Get the rear bumper done too. You'll wish you had later on (I made the same mistake). Now the front of my car is gorgeous and the back looks worse for the wear (after almost exactly one year of ownership and 22,500 miles, car always garaged at night). I think in a couple of years I will have the rear bumper repainted and get it Xpel'd as well.

I wish I could do xpel but the closest dealer that does xpel is in Jacksonville 210 miles away. Might go with formula one paint protection film since it's 9nly 40 miles away

Front end had a few minor nicks (down low on bumper only - hood was pristine) - but only if you looked really closely. I keep the front end well waxed and it seems to make a difference. I did get a few chips in 1 headlight in the first month, but otherwise they held up.

On normal, paved roads (mostly suburban highway, actually). I've had to park in a gravel parking lot at least once that I can remember (at Santa's Wonderland), and I also have at least one scratch I have is/was parking-lot induced (grrrrrrr). But to echo something MidnightSun said a while back, the paint on the bumpers seems to take a beating.
