  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

New member - new car(s)

had anyone replaced their headlamps/lights with LED? I wish my '11 had the 2013 headlamps. @ Dareck Hey did your genny come with the position holders that weathertech refers to on their website ?

If you mean those 2 little pins, the answer is "yes"

They're expensive on the website, and priced even higher on Amazon. I'll keep looking around. I was just looking at the LED puddle lights! lol In the photo they look a bit corny, guess you seeing them in person could leave a different impression.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
You may check with PrecisionLED folks.
They just released a bunch of new LED headlights recently with 12% discount too.
Dealt with them previously with excellent CS.

Fantastic Dareckibmw!! Welcome to the 2nd Gen club! It's unfortunate that you're misinformed about the fastest color though :D

No....no...no!! it's true! :D

Hate to see you dumped the 1st for the 2nd but then life is too short.
That said.
Congrats!

Thanks buddy! .....and don't worry about it, I ain't going nowhere! ;)

ps. Rspec is was quicker than new 5.0

Dareck, I thought you said you're buying a bmw...

Dareck, I thought you said you're buying a bmw...

Yeah......but I changed my mind. I'll stick to Genesis for now :D

Speaking of BMW.
I test drove a 528i x drive the other day.
Well my 5.0 is a real keeper and sorry, 2.0 T didn't cut it either.
I test drove a Genesis 2015 5.0 Ultimate a while ago came away with the following impressions vs 5.0 1g.
Firmer ride which is good.
Slower than 1g which is not that great but only a tad.
Interiors are way better than 1g.
Outside appearance and style...Well to this day...1g still rules.:)
Keep an eye on the 2017-18 coupe though.

I cannot believe you dumped your RSPEC, the fastest Genesis to date. You loved that car, and now I lost my twin. lol

I am still here, and still have my Titanium gray 2103 RSPEC. Have just over 21000km, or a bit over 12000 miles on here. All is good, and I am keeping her.

You have yourself a nice new car tho, and happy for you. I was going to use your car as a spare, but you sold it.

Was to take off the winter tires this week but the long term forecast for next week shows 8 inches of snow over a 36 hour period, so they will stay on for another week.

Classy Rspec is still in the house!!!
