  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2012 5.0 rspec vs 5.0o non rspec

I thought that the wood on the R-Spec and non-R-Spec 5.0 is in the same places, but it is just that R-Spec wood is ebony color, so may not look like wood at first glance. Maybe I am wrong?
This was my ASSumption. I've driven every trim, and hadn't noticed any difference beyond color.

I didn't know there was a non r-spec. I looked at the Hyundai product page here and it doesn't mention a non r-spec. Weird.

Anyway, not to hijack your post but what's the suspension difference between the 2012 non r-spec and the 2012 4.6? I wonder which suspension the 4.6 is closer to?

There is no wood on my 2012 R-spec at all.

It's "wood", in quotes. ;) The grain in the trim is meant to imply wood.

There is nothing on the interior of my R-spec that looks or feels like "wood".

Feels? No. Looks...all the shiny black trim. We drive the same car, man. ;)

You think the "shiny black trim" looks like wood?

I sure don't. Not that I would have opted for real or fake wood anyway.
