I'm a new owner (Pamplona Red G2 3.8 AWD w/ signature pkg) and I've got a question:
I moved my Valentine1 from the leased car I just got rid of... to the new Genesis. Now the detector seems to bark constantly, to the point of annoyance. It seems to quiet down once I'm on the road, but for the first few minutes of driving, it's enough to drive me bonkers. It never behaved this badly in the Infiniti I returned.
The detector is quite old, and perhaps "old" technology is to blame. But I'm wondering if the myriad assortment of electronic sensors on the Genesis might be what's setting this thing off. I find it hard to believe that the various tech-toys on the Genesis are running on X-Band or K-Band which would require FCC licensing. Anyone have similar experience? Any remedy besides turning down the volume (which I'll always forget to turn back up!)
