  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a professionally painted grille in black AF paint code for my 2012 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec sedan for sale. I had it professionally painted by the paint shop of my employer Richard Childress Racing and sold my Genesis before ever installing. Grille was sealed, base coat, and cleared.

The grille was $160 new from the manufacturer in primer plus paint and clear coat. I paid our in house painter $120 for the paint and prep work.

Grille has never been installed, picture installed below is for reference from the manufacturer.

Asking $225 shipped firm.

Re: F/S: Painted AF Black Grille, Brand New In Box

Please post asking price per classified rules. More angles of the actual grille would be nice as well. The title "Brand New In Box" is deceiving since it has now been painted and is not how the item would be received from the manufacturer. Title will be changing to "Never Installed".

Can we see a picture of the back and how it mounts to the hood?

I can try and get a shot of the back this evening. It mounts the same as the factory using four 10mm nuts on the stock locations. It just does not have provisions for the two plastic clips that are between the nuts on the factory piece. The painter also reinforced all the mounting locations with epoxy resin for me. As for the grille it has tabs all the way around like the factory grille that correspond to the slots in the factory bumper.

For those who have messaged me regarding the grille and to those who may be interested, I have not been able to reply back to your private messages for some reason. If interested please text me directly, 336-682-9091.

I would interested in this part.
As I understand it's a bolt on correct?
Do you know if the 12 and 13 are the same? I am picking up a 13 tomorrow morning.

Yes, I believe '12-14 are the same.

Thanks.

OK, I've verified 12-13-14 are the same.

IF all I need to do to install is remove bolts, grille, trim and install trim, grille and bolts I'm in for it!

I'll take it ..... I can do this. ;)

In my experience of having the factory grille out, it does not require bumper removal. Just four screws need to be removed and it pops right out. Again, if interested text me directly at 336-682-9091, my direct messenger has been having issues sending messages.

Didn't remove my bumper when replacing the upper grille either. Although a few of the bolts were a bit difficult to get to.

Paid!

Thanks xiaphin .... whatever that means. ;)
