Does the Hyundai badge have pins?

I do believe there are pins or "tabs". Are you looking to replace your Hyundai badge with the Genesis winged badge?

The existing Hyundai badge does have 2 pins. If you are simply going to remove it, there will be two holes in the trunk. If you are going to replace it with a winged badge, you'll have to remove the pins on the new badge because they will NOT line up properly with the existing holes. It's easily done - took me all of 15 minutes start to finish.

Although this discussion if for the 2G Genesis, the folks that had a 2009-2013, and wanted to replace the H with the KDM wings on the trunk, did not have to remove the pins because they line up the same as the H. If someone wanted to add a badge to the hood, that was different because 1G Genesis did not have a hood badge (so no existing holes in hood).

Starting In 2014 (even though that was a 1G) Hyundai began using wider wings in Korea and the pins on the wing do not line up with the USA flying H.

For my 2016 I removed the H logo with pins attached and installed the KDM badge that comes without tabs but has a couple of pieces of tape that cover the holes. Easy install.
