  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello Genny fans!
I plan on changing out my spark plugs with NGK-iridium after market ones this weekend on my 09' Genesis 4.6L Sedan. I will do my best to take some pics during the tear down.:D
In the meantime, feel free to share some pointers! :p I had an 04' XG350 that was a pain in the ass to do change spark plugs but not as bad as my 07' Maxima SE!

I changed my NGK iridiums which where the oem plugs in my 4.6. at about 90k. It is an easy job. In fact, it is time to do it again for my 4.6 at 188,000 miles.

Easy to change the front 2 plugs on each side. The 2 closest to the windshield on each side are much tougher. Any hints to make changing those easier?
