  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I wanna trade in my 2014 Santa Fe Sport. I've read to always buy new cars at the end of the year, would it make a difference between now & the next 3 months in the price of the Genesis Coupe? I want the base model because I'm still paying for the Santa & don't want my finance to pile up. I will finish paying for the Santa in 2 and a half years, still owe about $19,000 but I have excellent credit & just want a smaller vehicle. Any advice or guidance is appreciated!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Well, the longer you wait - the closer you get to the end of the year - the better deal you will get. If you really need to buy sooner than later - try going the last couple of days of the month. The end of the month and the end of the year are the best times to go.

Thank you, I was also thinking the longer I wait the less I will get for my trade-in.

Well. Depending on how much mileage you put on your trade-in - yeah, that could have an affect. Otherwise - they may be willing to work with you on that as well. Again, more so at the end of any given month - but even more so in December. Results will vary, though. I don't think you're going to save ALL THAT MUCH more but waiting until December. Hopefully others will chime in here as well...

I just bought a 2015 Genesis coupe, base mode, automatic, never titled. So if you are looking see if there are any 2015 left, just depends on what you are looking for and want.

Was happy with the discount, and the car
