  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Not the best video I could have gotten, but at least it's actually under load, not just revving in Park. I noticed, when searching YouTube, I couldn't find a video of this specific setup. 4.6, mufflers deleted. No other mods.

Enjoy. Or don't, totally up to you. You're an adult and I'm not here to tell you how to live your life.

Awesome man. I loved my 4.6 with the muffler delete and X-pipe. You've probably seen it on YouTube.

Most likely. And that was my issue. Finding "muffler delete" on youtube always accompanied something else like an after market mid pipe, cat deletes, resonator delete etc etc. So I decided to bite the bullet anyway since it was going to cost me $28 in materials to do and I figured it would not be too loud, and I'm glad I went for it. That clip I hope shows well enough that it's loud and with a good tone when on it hard, but still very very deep and very tame when at low RPM.

Yeah totally good choice on just doing the muffler deletes. With the x pipe it screams but the tone isn't as deep.

Dang that sounds really good for such a simple set up!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm surprisingly impressed with it. Thing is, it's more dynamic in person. Those GoPro's have a tendency to be a tinny and not pick up the lower tones so well. I guess with all the cats and resonator, removing the last 18" of muffler is not removing enough to make it obnoxious.
