  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My sunroof rattles when it's open, but it's not all the time. Sometimes there is no rattle at all, other times it's constant. It doesn't seem to change if I hit bumps or not, but I'm not sure.

Anyone else? I really don't feel like leaving it at service as I don't have the time, and my dealer doesn't have Genesis loaners. Hoping it's an easy fix.

There have been a lot of complaints about this, and there are many threads/posts on the subject.

Some would say it's like Spondylosis. It can be treated, but it can't be cured. Or, perhaps it's like Scoliosis. It can be treated in severe cases. In any case, a visit to the dealer for a course of therapy is advised. Take two aspirin and call them in the morning.

... and like Spondylosis, more folks don't have the sunroof problem than folks that do have it.
