  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The new Hyundai Azera is looking pretty good. See more pictures at the page linked below...

While I like it, it looks like a Jag'd version of the G2/80, and about the same size. Will probably come in under the G80 pricetag - which means Hyundai will be competing with itself. Not sure this is a smart avenue to take on their part.

Is the Azera gonna be under the Genesis brand or Hyundai brand?

The Azera is for the Hyundai brand.

Think of the Azera and the G80 like the Lexus GS and the Lexus ES... The ES is a front wheel drive vehicle that doesn't perform like the GS and the same goes for the Azera and the G80. Both cars should attract different customers...

This is true - for customers that are in the know. But how many blindly buy things based on keywords and buzzwords? ala; "Oh it's front wheel drive so it must be better"

Yeah, enthusiasts are mainly the people who will know the difference. Otherwise, the badge will make a difference. And eventually - service experience... Hyundai has had awhile now to get their service right and, for the most part, they haven't done the greatest job. That's where the Genesis Motors badge is going to make a big difference. Of course, other things like "performance" will stand out. I doubt the Azera will be getting a V8 or twin turbo V6 any time soon...
