  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm looking for a great dealer to do warranty work on my 14 R-spec. I live in St. Charles, work in Schaumburg and purchased from Pugi n DG. Most shops are dirty Pugi is bad.

Had issues with Pugi. I'm very picky and am worried dealer is going to damage car again. Need Dr seat track replaced grinding from transmission when seat moves back. Sun shade fabric is coming in-house again replaced once already.

Called Schaumburg Hyundai for oil filter and they wanted 15.00, and 45 for cabin air, I said your above list he had no Idea what to say I'm I'm I'm yes. I hung up on him. Elgin Hyundai was at list for both but on way home so bought it, ideally buy from Gerald in Aurora there below list. But have not tried anyone else for service.

Thanks Rich

I bought two cars from Napleton's Valley Hyundai in Aurora and I go there for any service, includes the oil change. I bring my own oil (Mobil1 full synthetic) and I pay like ~$30.00 for filter and labor. No complains, though.

(I don't like Pugi's as well)

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Yelp probably has a lot of customer reviews on Hyundai dealers in your area.

I've been happy with my current dealer, Rosen Hyundai in Algonquin, and also Elgin. I had a few cars from Elgin. They recently expanded, and sometimes that's good for service, and sometimes not. I don't know if the old time techs are still there.

I can say that my I went to Elgin to buy last year, and I did not know anyone at the showroom. This was after the expansion. I was somewhat surprised that they did not seem willing to work a deal, and they low-balled me on the trade. I went to Rosen, and did the deal that night.

Again, both were very good for service from my perspective.

Grossinger Hyundai Palatine has a great repair/Body shop. They treat Genesis owners like kings.
I bought a cabin filter a few weeks ago. It was $26 or $27.
The waiting room at the Schaumburg dealer is like any small dealer waiting room. The one in Palatine is huge & nice.

Grossinger? or Patrick? Schaumburg and Palatine.

Ah.... I just saw the Grossinger took over the Palatine location that used to be Patrick.

Patrick used to own the Palatine dealership, but they sold it to Grossinger last January.

One weird thing about Patrick... last year around Nov-Dec, they had several Genesis demos with about 5K-6K miles. They had them priced higher than any of the surrounding dealers had for new ones. Many of those had been around on their website since April or May of 2015. Seemed odd so many demos, and not really dealing.

I work in Algonquin (I actually live in South Elgin, so we are kind-of neighors), right on the other side of Randall from the Hyundai dealer. Going to need an oil change soon. Should I give them a try?
