Key Fob Programming

Just got my new 4.6/Tech a few days ago and am trying to figure out if the key fobs can be programmed so that all the adjustments to seat, wheel, mirrors, etc. will change depending on which fob is used. So far, only pushing the "1" or "2" buttons on the drivers door is changing the settings regardless of which fob is used.

Exactly! My dealer programmed the fob so I could lower the windows on my (black) Passat from outside. I can't tell you how much I miss that feature on my (black) Genny.

That's so ridiculous. Even my old 2002 Mercury Mountaineer knows to adjust the driver's seat based on which fob is being used as soon as I hit the unlock button.

Well like they say, this car ain't perfect but pretty damn near it. My Lincoln LS had this feature and I really liked it.

BUT, not having this capability is inconsequential to me compared to everything else the Genesis brings to the market. I'd be very surprised if this were the disqualifier for anyone considering this car.

Good points. We can't get it all at this price point. But what we have is damn decent!
