So let us know what your first impressions are as compared to the old car along with your dealer experiences.
So I researched this car for so long and knew the cost to quality ratio was the best, I had been eye balling this one specifically for the past 6 weeks, watching it slowly dwindle in price from 35k to 27.8k. Test drove it and realized I had to have it.
I wasn't even going to buy the car lastnight, but my last patient cancelled his appointment, which let me get off work an hour before the bank closed. For shits and gigs I ran in and talked to a loan agent, they approved me on the spot for 2.9% financing for 72 months. I said hell lets go get the car right now, I ran home real quick, literally threw everything out of my Sonata onto the drive and headed there. Met with the same guy I test drove it with.
about 45 mins later as I'm signing the paper work and finishing the deal a gentlement who drove it same Sat I did came in looking to buy it, I beat him to the punch, I feel like with the events that took place and the timing me and this car were meant to be!!
After my terrible trade in value I got it for 28k out the door, CPO clean carfax 14k miles, I feel like it was a steal, seeing as how they had 16 Honda Accords on the lot going for 33k.
So driving my 06 Sonata for the past 9 years (past year I've put 2k into keeping it running) this thing is out of this damn world. I can't even begin to describe how it feels driving it. I feel like I'm in a spaceship lmao, the convenience of everything, the technology, being able to start if from my phone! it's blowing me away.
The dealership was Ohare Hyundai up here in Chicago, the guy I worked with was awesome, around my age 29. He was ecstatic for me because he knew the deal I was getting and how nice this car, plus he gets to be the dealer to sell it. Overall I couldn't have asked for a more exciting and helpful first car buying experience!
