Unlocking doors on 2012 equus ultimate??

In my genesis, i could double click my key fob to unlock all four doors.. With my equus, it only unlocks the front driver door.. Also when i walk up to car, and press that little door button on the vehicle door handle, it only unlocks the driver door also.. On my genisis i would press it quicly twice and it would unlock all the doors. Is there a setting i can "unlock" to have this happen for this vehicle?

You probably have the child safety settings enabled, which keep the rear doors locked. Check with your owners manual. If you don't have one, register at www.myhyundai.com and you can download one.

There may also be a way to unlock all doors with one click on the fob, but that may require the dealer service dept to set that up for you.

Tested on my 15 Ultimate. Press unlock once unlocks drivers door, press again unlocks all other doors.

Do not press to fast, or will not sense it.

Same with button in outside door handles.

On my 2011 equus if using the door handles you open any door other than drivers first it unlocks all doors but if you unlock drivers first only drivers will unlock' I believe this is for safety so you can get in without unlocking everything quickly' 2 clicks of the fob will also unlock all doors

FIGURED IT OUT!! all i had to do was to hold both the unlock and lock buttons down on my remote until i saw my front lights flash. so now all my doors unlock when i hit the buttons.

This made me think and wonder if there is a way to roll down the windows with the keyfob on any model Equus... My Infiniti G35 does it as do most Nissan vehicles I think. I will have to do some digging in the manual.

Try holding down the unlock button, on my Lexus LS430 all four windows and sunroof would open this way.
