  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am knew tonthis forum and just purchased a 2013 sedan which I love. I am looking to upgrade the stereo to something more up to date than what I have i.e. Touchscreen navigation etc. I went to my local installer and they said there is no mount kit for it and the lay would have to custom make something which could cost me into the thousands. Is there a difference on the bezel from a 2011 to a 2013? As I found one in eBay that fits 2009-2013 does anyone know of that's true?

If you have the Base Trim model (no navigation) you can get a solution from UNAVI at http://unavi-usa.com/store/p13/GenesisSedan
It has received fairly good reviews. It was originally done for fleet owners who bought a lot of Genesis sedans with base trim level for rental cars.

If you have premium package or above already with navigation, I don't know of any solution, and I would not attempt to put in a system from a different model year or different trim level than you already have (with exception of the UNAVI system).

I have just the base model stereo no touchscreen no navi. I also found the whole stereo also do you think this would work? I certainly don't have 1499 to spend.

I am pretty sure that you cannot use one of the Lexicon systems (14 or 17 Speaker system) on a Base Trim Genesis.
