  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Model Type
Genesis G80
Hi there,
I am just curios if anyone ever wondered or tired to change their MAP layout on Genesis 2016 Genesis G80? my buddy has an infinity which the map layout is pretty cool and it's 3d instead of display as eagle eye. Now I know I am talking an comparing two different cars, different models, but I am just curios if anyone ever tried to update and have 3d Map on theirs.

thanks.

The map update adds 3D view. Mine is touch only model and has 3D view along with Android Auto.

Clarification:
An 2016 Genesis is not classified as a G80 regardless of its trim level.

Believe me, I had a 2016 Hyundai Genesis base 3.8 V6 and now have a 2018 Genesis G80 base 3.8 V6 and they are not the same car.
The G80 is more responsive when driving, shifts are more refined, is a lot quieter, etc.
Only down side is the G80 mpg is a little lower, about 2 mpg. But that is OK with me. The added power makes up for the difference.
