Hello all,
New Genesis owner here. Love the car. Think I got a good deal on it, but there's one thing that's really bugging me I thought I'd ask you guys about.
While accelerating slowly (neighborhood driving) through the 20 to 35 MPH range, the acceleration is uneven and the car "bogs" slightly at certain small bands in RPMs.
It feels like:
a) I'm rolling down a road with strips of fresh tar of various widths
b) the fuel injection is dirty
c) the bogging and compression you sometimes feel when you downshift a manual transmission car
Once I hit 40, things feel smoother, but I think that's because it's finally in the last gear.
I feel the same thing while decelerating as well, so am now suspecting the transmission as I've never known an auto transmission car not to smoothly coast to a stop as it slows and downshifts.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts about this.
