  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

FS: '15 Genesis sales brochure

Going fast. Only one left. Make an offer. My loss is your gain. The price will be going up in the new year.

Out of curiosity (and to avoid false advertising), how is it that they “going fast”? You say you have one left now, but In your original post from July, you were only selling 1 brochure and said:

“I have one in perfect condition that needs a new home.”

Thanks for bumping my post. Are you an interested buyer, or just violating forum rules?

Hmmm... which rule am I violating by asking you to clarify what seems to be patently false information on how the 1 brochure you said you were selling could be "going fast" if it is still for sale? The question is relevant and maybe I am interested...

That said, you should really do your research before you accuse someone of violating forum rules when you have violated one yourself - specifically, #2 under general rules:

"2. YOU MUST POST AN ASKING PRICE FOR EACH ITEM YOU ARE SELLING!
This is the maximum price you are allowed to charge. You may also add OBO (Or Best Offer) to your price, which means you will accept the posted price or less, at your discretion."

So, per forum rules, please post the asking price.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
For Nikgen the price is $50.89. For all others, today's price is $10.00, or best offer.

Who told you there was more than one brochure? Get a sense of humor. You're more interested in harassing a forum member.

You are also violating the rule that says keep out of the thread if you are not an interested buyer. If you are lonely, please start your own thread.

Be prepared, he already complained to management about my posts and you're likely to receive the same treatment.

Sorry - but you have no way to know whether I am an interested buyer or not. In fact, by violating the forum rules and not posting an asking price as required in your original post (and in subsequent responses to those who asked for the price), how could you expect anyone to be able to decide if they were really interested?

Therefore, I have violated no forum rules by asking you to post the price as REQUIRED by the very forum rules you want to apply to everyone except yourself.

Further, I have not violated any forum rules by asking you to clarify the confusion YOU created as to how many brochures were for sale. You implied there was more than 1 by saying they were "going fast" and there was "only one left" - which appears misleading given you initially said you were selling "one in perfect condition".

That said, now that you have finally complied with the forum rules and posted an asking price, I can tell you that I am not interested in the brochure given the price you have quoted me.

Good luck with your now rule-compliant sale.

Thanks again for bumping my ad.

Why bother.

For the sake of the arts. Are you an interested buyer?
