Got the Sensor 1 Bank 1 code and dutifully purchased the new oxygen sensor, only to be stymied when trying to find the location of the old one. Mind you, I'm in a bit of a cramped garage, but it's supposed to be the upstream LEFT sensor, yet, I cannot find it, and worse, cannot find ANY diagram on google or elsewhere showing the location of these sensors. I typically get diagrams for Elantras, Sonatas, and even Santa Fe's and Tucsons, but NONE for the 8 cylinder models.
I remember changing out many an O2 sensor on older vehicles, and they were usually a lot more visible, before the advent of the ENDLESS bells and whistles on the newer cars.
ANY help would be must appreciated.
2009 Genesis V8 4.6 with only 70,200 miles and aside from performing all the regular p.m.'s, this is the worst that has happened in the WHOLE time I've owned it.
