  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Gapped my 5.0 exhaust... returned it back to stock 2 days later

There was a muffler that did exactly this. It was discontinued presumably due to horrible reviews on flap rattling at low speed and rust issues. Good idea. Bad execution.

I believe this was the Dynomax VT mufflers if I am not mistaken.

Looking to change out my mufflers on my 2013 5.0 while allowing for minimal drone. Just looking for a little sound, the near hybrid decibel output on this stock R-Spec is not what I expected.

Considering the VT's but yes, some have complained about flap rattles, others have not, and yet others say they are discontinued.

Can anyone weigh in on this one?

Just get some cutouts and make a turn down, the rattle will be present with either since its the same technology.
