  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Mr. Dougmcp I hear you're the man. I have an 09 Gen, can you please provide a copy of a service manual? Thank you very much.

Got it. Thank you Doug!

Hi Doug,
Could I trouble you for a copy of the service manual. Need to replace the door lock actuator in my wife's 2010 4.6L Genesis.
Thank you Sir.

Hi Doug,

May I ask for a copy of the 2009 Sedan 4.6 manual? I need to replace a pesky temperature control actuator this weekend.

Thanks!
Lee Gordon

Hey Doug and others, seems like Doug is the man for service manuals. I've been scanning the net and eBay but can't seem to find the one I need. Was going to ask here what people thought of the hyundaitechinfo site. Seems like you have to pay 20 bucks for a week's access. I hate the thought of ponying up the cash only to find out that the info I need is not there or lacks sufficient detail like torque specs. Plus, As my car gets a little older I'd like to have access to a permanent (paper or PDF) copy. don't want to have to spend $20 every time I need to look into something. When I first got my Genesis, the service manual site was free but that was several years ago and I never needed it.

Now I want to replace the serpentine belt, tensioner and pulley which looks like a pretty easy job (maintenance). I've done it before on other cars but I want to be sure I have the torque specs correct.

So Doug, if you have and can send me the 2011 Genesis Sedan 3.8 manual I would be most grateful. I'm at hunttom@comcast.net

If not then does anyone have any experience with the paid Hyundai site?

Sent in a PM, good luck with the maintenance. Doug.

When I bought my '07 Sonata the site was free. At the time it was great and like all service manuals it had good information even if you were not doing service. A year or so after it became a paid site. I have no idea of the cost today but 8 years ago it was reasonable, a must for guys doing their own work.

Hi Doug,

Could you send me 2011 4.6 manual?

Regards,
Donatas
