  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello everyone,
I just purchased a 2012 Genesis 5.0r-spec. I love the car and it has all the options I think that you could get. Any way, I digress. I had the wheels off this weekend and was doing some cleaning. I noticed some sensors connected to the control arms. Any one have any idea what they are for? I am assuming it is for traction control. But who knows. Also, does anyone know how I can get a hold of a list of what the car was ordered with when it was first purchased?

2012 V8's only came one way: completely loaded. The only "option" was choice of color.

The sensor on the control arm (I presume we're talking rear here) is the height sensor for the auto-leveling headlamps. As the rear of the car squats, the sensor tells the headlights to tilt down.
