  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2015 Genesis 3.8 Technology Package..

And I just noticed I typed "2015 or 2016" instead of "2025 or 2026" I SUPPOSE I can forgive your typo! ;-)

So taxes, title, etc, come to about 10% of the cost of the car. Good to know. The local dealer has a 2015 tech package with 21k miles and they're asking $28,000. Not the color I want (I'm looking for Montecito blue) but if it's still in their lot at the end of the month, maybe I'll bite. See if I can get it with the $0/10yr/120k HPP out the door for under $28k.

Dealer fee was $600. Tax at 7% was $1600 and Tag/Title was $50.

$28000 seems a little high compared to the prices I'm seeing in Atlanta. Do a search on cars.com to see what's available. Might be worth flying down if you get a good price and driving the car back. The problem is that most cars I see are Ultimate. I managed to snag the one Tech Package car the dealer had compared to a score of ultimates.

Love the car. Good luck.

That's their asking price. I wonder if I could get them down to $25k? I live in Savannah. It would be a "quick" drive up I16... :D
