  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I ordered some 20x9 +38 and a 20x10.5 +45 Tire rack says I should use 255/35/20 and 295/30/20 on stock height. I have seen lots of guys running 245&255 up front and most use 285/30/20 in back. I would greatly appreciate any assistance. I tried searching but using 295 size seems like all I got was people talking about coupe sizes.

You'll be fine with 295/30/20 in rear. I was running 285/30, my '15 was lowered and I was pretty sure I could fit in 295's

That is good to hear. I hope someone who is running that set-up will chime in.

These tires are MASSIVE. How much are you spending?

I went with 255/35/20 & 285/30/20 went with a Sumitomo which I have used before and liked. Total to my door after $75 gift card rebate from tire rack. $557 to my door. I went with those sizes because I found another me.ber running the exact set-up. Same width wheels and same offsets.

Wait did you just trade your car in.

Nice, I like that red, its a good color. What you gonna do with your stock 19s?

Haha....not selling them. They'll be my winter set of wheels/tires. Besides ....the car is leased, so I need to keep them.

Has anyone tried with a 295? How did it go? Did you use a 10.5" wheel? What was the offset?

I have 295's on the rear of my '15 3.8L on a 20x10" wheel with a 45mm offset. No issues for me. I would think you should still be okay even with a 10.5" wheel. I am also lowered on Ark Performance GT-F springs.IMG_0136.webpIMG_0122.webp

How are the Kumho's riding?

No too bad. Very quiet at all speeds and even wear so far. The only thing is that they need to be set a 42psi which makes them quite firm.

With a 10.5" wheel, you might even be able to go with 305 tires. The advantage there is that there seem to be more options for a 305 tire. My guess is an 11" wheel will probably clear the fenders though.

Might have to play with the offsets though.

Glad you guys are sharing this. I need to go with a bigger size in the rear. My wheel lip is too exposed. That will be next time though. I just bought another set in the rear.1960719608
