G70 US Availability?

Just curious, I assume most of you signed up on the Genesis USA site to receive updates on "The New G70 - Coming soon!", but has anyone gotten any email or other correspondence from Genesis on the USA release of this car? 4 Press releases, but nothing sent directly to those interested in the car? Or maybe my spam filter grabbed it?

I did a little while ago, haven't received any e-mails. Even so, I figure it's probably a good thing to sign up to show that car enthusiasts are interested.

Not a single thing. Useless. They probably did it to gauge interest in the car...and see how many people they can piss the f$%k off.

Good point! Everything else you sign up for on email, you usually get some warm correspondence to confirm that you are on the list and they appreciate your interest. Nuffin from Genesis!

YES! Then I'd at least know they registered my interest. It's not about human contact of course, it's about doing things in a professional way. Yeah, it's a stretch to say they "missed the mark" here, but still it is a reflection on their priorities.

My thoughts as well. I'm not at all perturbed that they didn't send a welcome/thank you email, but it would have been a nice acknowledgement for my interest in a relatively unknown brand.

Also, would have been a nice start to the still empty folder in my Outlook inbox labeled "Genesis".........

We just need to leverage this at the dealership; hoping we can use the unknown brand and mess of a launch to get some sort of discount...

That would be nice, but I doubt it... I feel like most dealers won't even know that the launch was delayed and took forever. They'll just be happy to have a brand new model that they can sell without a discount because we will be in there on day one essentially buying it off the truck

On a practical note, you don’t know if the sign up worked without an acknowledgement. I don’t care what it says.

Absolutely nothing official from Genesis. So far I've gotten the most information from this Forum, YouTube and Google.

Well...officially from Genesis...G70 in August. But when in Aug is the question. No pricing.

August is actually mentioned on the photo caption at the bottom.

I keep waiting for this thread to explode when we finally have specifics about when the car will be available and what it'll cost. Shouldn't be long now. We've all speculated until we're blue in the face. It'll be nice when we have confirmed, specific information.
