Never thought I would be driving a Hyundai but here I am and I am impressed. Car has 88k miles and rides smooth and powerful. The features that come with the car amaze me like the sunshade in the back that folds when you reverse lol. Just a few cosmetic problems but I’m not too worried about it. Is there a way to change the flying H on the steering wheel to a genesis sign? Also I read that the back tired should be 2 psi more than the front since it’s rwd? I set the back tires to 35 and he front to 33. The drive seems fine, I’ve already driven it to El Paso and back, I live in Phoenix az. Love all the threads!

Is there a way to change the flying H on the steering wheel to a genesis sign?

Yes, you can get KDM (Korean domestic market) wing-badge replacement airbags for $300 or less on ebay. This is with the wing emblem embedded into the vinyl cover, not the black oval stickers. Replacement can be done DIY with simple tools (torx 30 IIRC) or give $20 to a local mechanic. Takes about 5 minutes for someone who knows what they're doing (including disconnecting main battery during the swap).

For Example (this one is black, contact seller to verify fitment and color):

For the low-cost alternative, you can go with the black oval badges. These are stickers that lay over the top of the flying H, and can be had for about $5-10.

Bad advice. Higher pressure in back can mean less rear grip, and can cause you to spin. Follow the PSI specs on the driver's door jamb. IMO, if you're going to play PSI games (for example setting to 35 or higher to improve fuel economy) then set them all the same.

Thanks for the reply and feedback brotha. I actually meant I made the tires in the back 33psi and the front 35 since it’s rwd. Should I get oem parts for maintenance like oil filters and such? Also is there a way to hack the system to put up the genesis Prada sign? I’ve read around but nothing for a 2011 3.8. Thanks again

Yes use OEM oil filters if the car is covered by any warranty. Otherwise knock yourself out.

There are a few posts about accessing the engineering menus, but I don't remember reading many (any?) posts about editing the display images.

Welcome. With 88K miles, you're just getting started. I have 120K on my 2011, and only issue is the power seat won't lower in the front. It rides like new, no squeaks or rattles.

The cars only had one owner and he kept up with all the maintenance. Seats are not ripped and the engine is smooth. I lucked out finding this car

Congrats. Stop thinking about Prada on the screen and Genesis airbags. Put your money toward a repairs savings fund. Your car is 8 years old and, I'm assuming, has no warranty. A car with 88,000 miles on the clock can bite you in many different ways.

funny enough I lower my car PSI to 31.
