  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone had this problem. Mine now just flaps in the wind and I don't know how to reattach it.

YEP! LOL....I got the same problem on my 2012 3.8. I'd posted that we've have moisture intrusion into the right headlight assembly (I don't have the thread) but bout that time the rubber cover gasket things decided to loosen up. THey are still attached at the rear so I have to push them back towards the engine...otherwise, if they come out, you think you've hit a bird and it's flapping around stuck in the grill. If you pull it up and look, it appears there was some sort of thick double-sided adhesive used, and it may be possible to clean the rubber as well as the top of each headlight...the channel where the rubber fits down into, and reattach it. I'm looking for a part number either for the adhesive (you may notice that if you try to glue it, it may not fit too well) or the flaps....

But to keep them from flapping, and you will eventually lost them if the rubber tears, just push them back towards the engine and let the hood hold them in place.

PM me and I'll give you my phone number.
