  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

What did you do with your DH Genesis today?

I washed her, took it for a spin and stopped by a dealer to check out some new rides for my wife, lol 20180802_165211.webp

Re: Uniq Performance Rigid Collars

RC Autoworks installed rigid collars on my car today....it's the same shop that lowered my 5.0 last year. Awesome and fast work!

Great pics! My friend has a car-lift and now I finally feel comfortable locating the bolts.

BTW, put in the arm and hammer filter, forget the brand, theres only one though, and boy did it make an instantaneous diff, soooo much bettar

Fram makes that filter. I just received my replacement filter from Rock Auto, and can't wait to change it out. I have the mildew like smell at start-up too.

Update: Just replaced my cabin filter in 5 mins. Open the glove compartment, and squeeze inward on both sides and let it drop a bit. The filter cover has 2 tabs on the left side that release the cover when you pinch them together. Pull the filter out and replace with the arrow for airflow pointing downward. And reverse the removal prcoess. The smell is now gone.

Is this filter still working for you?

Got some High Temp Vinyl decals ( if there is such a thing) for the flat spot on the front brake calipers. Ill post how it goes after they are on.

So your putting a sticker on what will be super hot and dirty metal calipers? Somehow I'm thinking you're asking for problems down the road.

Time will tell.

Not saying its going to work but it is not a sticker. They are enamel based wrap made for wrapping brake calipers. It is heat resistant to 400 degrees. They have a few videos on you tube with 5 month updates on entire caliper wraps. If it doesn't work I will use them as a stencil and have the calipers painted. I had a set of MGP caliper covers and loved the look of little color.

Bought it yesterday. Fixed camera top view. Cleaned exhaust soot with Turtle Chrome Polish:

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Sorry to hear that. At this point I would take it to the dealership so they can at least diagnose it.

Thank you.

No biggy. The camera works fine as is(normal view), plus I really never have a desire to change to a top view anyway. However, I do want the camera to work properly.

I will take it in to a Hyundai dealership one day when I get to it. I have an full comprehensive extended warranty that covers everything until 100k miles so I am good. Hopefully I will get a updated camera unit that addresses the issues with the early(2015) units like my current camera.
