  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

And sponsoring the Monday night half time “show”.

Just saw my first ever Genesis commercial.

As good ‘ol George Jefferson used to say “.......movin’ on up....”

Another in a long line of questionable decisions launching the brand. They literally have almost no cars to sell right now in the US. My local Genesis dealer has about 5 cars. What is the point of this multi-million dollar advertising campaign?

At least they are finally doing something instead of keeping the brand a Mystery. Finally a step in the right direction albeit an expensive one. In this case even a questionable decision is better than no decision.

Nothing questionable about sponsoring the NFL. Even with all the BS and protests and political garbage the NFL is still the most watched sport on television.

2017 season with all the nonsense, over 16 million viewers per game on average.

Baseball just over 8 million, and basketball only about 1.5 in comparison.

Bottom line is the NFL still has a major audience to target, just because some a-holes create discord is not a reason to question the sponsorship, as long as Genesis doesn’t offer up a political based opinion about it they won’t offend me.

Businesses need to keep their politics to themselves.

Brand awareness, create intrigue, spur curiosity, cultivate interest...not uncommon for a ‘newer’ company to allure potential buyers even if production is lagging behind.

These decisions are made many months in advance. The Genesis dealer network is taking a while to get sorted out and is very close. Had they not taken a chance, the entire NFL season could have been lost.

In any case, it makes people aware of the brand. There are still a lot of people that never heard of Genesis as a car brand, now they have. It will take a few more views to get them into a showroom, but that is how it starts.
