any tricks to completely turn this thing off ? i was hoping with the btr tune it would shut this damn thing completely off , but its unfortunate that spending all this money for tune doesnt shut this thing off and instead makes the power gain from the tune usless .
 
On there sight it says "Stability control turns off when traction control is off (The stability light will still flicker but will not apply)". I would get a hold of them and tell them it's not doing what they say it's suppose to.

I thought the same when i bought it, sent ecu back and talk to luke from btr he said the claim was a typo, so they pulled the off the site.

Do the remote disable mod. I did it on mine it was about $65 in misc electrical parts and took about 20 mins to put together and install. Works great. Theres a thread on here somewhere about it if you search. Easy install, and I don't know anything about electricals. Hardest part was cutting the stock airbox to let the wires come out for a ground... (man that plastic is hard!)

From what I understand, the TCS can be turn off partially(more like monitoring) but it will still engage when the system detects wheel slippage especially while moving for safety reasons.

The best thing to do until you find a permanent solution to turn off the TCS is to install gripper tires to minimize a loss of traction.
 
i just ordered all the parts , so well see how this works out.

I love it. I take my 5.0 R spec to the drag strip at least once a month and this mod allows me to hit some burnouts and smoke the tires as well as not have the nanny kick in to limit my performance. On street driving I typically keep the ESC on because I try to drive the beast more conservatively and save the racing for the track. But if I have a buddy in the car and we wanna have some fun and slide a little bit, this mod allows you to do practically anything you want. The ESC is fully disabled and will not kick in at all unless you restart the car. That being said, stay safe and always drive with caution if you use this mod.

Yeah it works fine dude. Just get the remote mod set up, push the button then when the lights come on the dash you hold the ESC button for 3 sec then let off and auto hold, epb and esc should be lit orange on the dash then hit the off button to close the fuse circuit again and you're good to go. It works great

How do you shut it off when its on? Do you have to shut down car every time?

Yeah the only downside is once activated you have to turn the car off to get back your ESC

Btw works great !!! It's like have 2 modes now , with the second being beast mode lol kinda scary with tune thing gets nasty just going straight.

Feels so much faster without feeling that engine cut. Great mod definitely recommend but being careful while playing.
