Third brake light flasher

Hello i noticed these days lots of cars on the road have their third brake light flash when brake pedal engages. Anyone done it to their genesis? If so which product did you use and how hard is it to get it installed?

I've used this one on several vehicles. wish I had put it in my G80 before the a$$hat re-ended me last month.. it's going in when the car comes back from the body shop.

Are those pretty much plug and play? Or do i need to splice some wires

you have to cut and splice.. It goes inline to the positive and negative going into the LED high stop light:




I'm a bit OCD with this type of stuff so I use 2 of these:



one on each side of the flash relay, so when it comes time to trade in the car, I can easily remove it, then connect them to each other to restore the factory function. and not leave the wires to short or exposed.

For 2015 genesis. How do i access the third brake light? Through thr trunk? Or thr back seat?

I haven’t done mine yet, but I went out and looked at my 2018, and it appears you can reach it from the back seat, there looks to be 4 screws that hold it in.

I’m searching for a wiring diagram because I think the wiring for it is coming from the front fuse block under the dash and it would be easier to wire it there.

Why 24 volts,I have a 2017 genesis G90 I recently in stalled one , when I step on the brakes it does what it's supposed to and then after a while it starts flashing real fast
