  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Any interest in a write-up on hardwiring a radar detector?

It might be the hosting website for the pictures is down. Just hang on a little while and it might come back up.
Ok thanks. I all i need to know is how to remove A pillar on 2015 model because there is no tab i can remove the screw like other cars and also all the fuses in the driver side fuse box was occupied. I was thinking about using add a circuit but which fuse should i use it on?

If using the fuse box, get a fuse tap at any auto parts store.

Also, there are airbags in the A pillars, I personally would not mess with that at all unless I disconnected the power.

I did the mirror tap and some off brand mount total cost was like less than 45 bucks and works like a charm. I did break the tab off the stupid large plastic cover the covers all the sensors, but that was 13 bucks extra for a new one.

Mirrorntap wont work for me because for some reason i can open my garage door when car is off and i have a mute button hardwire kit for my escort so i would need to have the mute button somewhere low where i can reach it easy

I think my garage door works when the car is off but my radar detector shuts off with the car. But if you need the mute button then ya you will need to go with your route.

Yea i hardwired it to my fuse on genesis coupe easy because it actually has a cap that you remove on a pillar to take the cover off but on the genesis sedan i didnt see the cap so wanted to know what is the proper way to remove this

I think it pops right off to be honest, most of the A piller covers just clips.

Oh ok that will be simple than. Which fuse do i take out to put add a circuit? On genesis coupe there were empty slots and on sedan every slot is full

Anything that comes on when switched to accessories would work, like wipers, stereo etc..
