  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just bought this awesome car 2 months ago, today we got close to a foot of snow and the AEB warning light went off while driving home through the worst of the storm. The front bumper bottom panel on the passenger side was touching the ground and packed full of snow. My question is with the front bumper being kinda low do other owners have issues with the under panel coming loose and acting like a snow plow lol.

It's possible that the "undercover" as it's described by Hyundai was remounted incorrectly after the last oil change as once was done to my car. The front edge of the front undercover has to be inside, not underneath, the front bumper.

No idea why a panel would be touching the ground unless it was taken apart at one time or another and not properly fastened.

The AEB light will go on if snow builds up on the plate on the front. Heavy rain can block the signal too.

Thanks for the replies..I took it in this morning and it turns out it was mounted wrong at the oil change which caused the passenger side to come loose..the tech said he never saw that much snow packed in the front of a car before..I was having my car looked at for a flutter noise between 25-35 mph.
